Composite Period Code

Description

Indicates the time period within the year to which the composite observation applies.  E.g, which week, month, quarter, etc.

Valid period codes depend on composite type as follows:

Business Rules
--------------



Must be a valid AQS Composite Period Code.

Required when submitting composite data.

The date corresponding to the Composite Year and Composite Period must be less than or equal to the current date.

Composite Year and Composite Period must fall within a Sample Period for the monitor.

When inserting, must not duplicate data already in the database.  That is, be for the same combination of Composite Year and Composite Period for the monitor.

When updating, composite data must already exist in the database for the combination of Composite Year and Composite Period for the monitor.

When deleting, composite data must already exist in the database for the combination of Composite Year and Composite Period for the monitor.
